What is Mulami?

  • Mulami is handcrafted in California, where we ensure the highest quality standards for our kosher charcuterie.

What makes Mulami different from other charcuterie brands?

  • Premium Ingredients: We use only grass-fed, antibiotic- and hormone-free beef.

  • Naturally Cured with Real Salt®: We use Redmond's Real Salt®, a mineral-rich natural salt that enhances the curing process and flavor.

Product and Storage Information

Do I need to refrigerate Mulami salami?

  • Our closed packaged Salumi collection are shelf-stable but should be stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, we recommend refrigerating to maintain optimal quality and freshness. 

How long does Mulami salami last?

  • Unopened: Our salami is shelf-stable, however we do recommend refrigeration, to keep items from drying/shrinking and to maintain ideal texture. It will last up to 4 months in a cool, dry place.

  • Opened: Once sliced, store it in the fridge and consume within 3 weeks for the best quality.

How should I store my Mulami salami?

  • Before opening: Keep in a cool, dry place.

  • After opening: Wrap loosely in parchment paper or a dry towel and refrigerate.

Can I freeze Mulami salami?

  • We do not recommend freezing, as it may affect the texture and flavor of the salami.

Do I need to peel the casing from salami sticks?

  • Yes, the casing must be peeled before consuming.

  • All other salami products: No peeling is required; they are ready to eat.

What are the white spots or mold on my salami?

  • A fine layer of natural mold may develop on our salami, just like aged cheeses. This is completely normal and acts as a protective layer. If desired, simply wipe it off with a dry cloth.

Do your products contain nitrates or nitrites?

  • Our salami is naturally cured using celery powder, which contains naturally occurring nitrates. Our products are free from artificial preservatives.

Are Mulami products gluten-free and allergen-free?

  • Yes! Our salami is 100% gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free, ensuring a clean and simple ingredient list.

Are you Halal?

  • Not yet, but we are working towards offering Halal certification in the near future.

 


 

Ordering & Shipping

Where do you ship?

  • We ship throughout the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

How long does shipping take?

  • Standard Shipping: Orders are processed within 2-3 business days and typically arrive within 3-5 business days.

  • Expedited Shipping: Available at checkout for faster delivery.

How much does shipping cost?

  • We offer flat-rate on all orders*. Shipping is available nationwide for $14.99 - *for ground shipping only- normally arrives between 3-5 business days after shipping. 

  • Expedited Shipping is available as well. Depending on your location your shipping will be calculated at the checkout page.

How do you ship your product?

  • Once you select your desired date, Mulami will pack and ship your package along with thermal liners, maintaining a cool temperature for safe transit. 

Can I track my order?

  • Yes! Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.

 


 

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at info@mulami.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

Do you offer refunds?

  • If there is an issue with your order, we will offer a replacement or refund based on the situation. We may require photos of the product and packaging for verification.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately at info@mulami.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but once an order has been packed or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.
